A well-established regional construction contractor is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team based in Bristol.
The business delivers a range of construction projects across the South West and is known for its practical approach, strong client relationships, and consistent project delivery. This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking for stability, local work, and career progression within a supportive team.
The Role
* Commercial management of construction projects from pre-contract through to final account
* Preparation and management of budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
* Valuations, variations, and change control
* Procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers
* Assisting with tendering and cost planning where required
* Working closely with site teams to ensure commercial and contractual compliance
* Supporting final accounts and project close-out
About You
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
* Good knowledge of standard forms of contract (JCT experience preferred)
* Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Good IT skills, including Excel and commercial software
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
