About us:
The Planning, Regeneration + Infrastructure team at Lambert Smith Hampton provide a range of consultancy service to developers, investors, landowners, house builders and the public sector. With a presence in each of the major cities and regions, the team has a fully national footprint wherein we can aid clients.
Across the country, the team are currently engaged on a wide variety of projects, including Housing and Economic Need Assessments, Employment Need Assessments, Housing Land Supply Reviews, strategic portfolio reviews and site identification, socio-economic assessments and a wide variety of projects in between.
We have a varied portfolio of clients and the vast majority of our work is repeat business or on recommendation, endorsing the quality of our work. We work across the UK on a day-to-day basis on a variety of schemes of all shapes and sizes, dealing with a range of issues including major brownfield regeneration sites or heritage and conservation matters
The work carried out by the team is diverse and rewarding, having direct impact on our clients business and providing true value. The services we provide cover:
- Dealing with planning policy and site appraisals
- Local plan promotion and monitoring
- Evidence base preparation
- Section 106 negotiations
- Expert witness / planning appeals
If successful, this position would see you working in our Economics and Planning Policy team which covers the whole of England, in particular working closely with our teams in London, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol, Newcastle and Manchester. The position would involve close work with the team’s lead Director on a day to day basis, engaging on a number of different projects and pieces of work.
Thisopportunity exists for a:
- MRTPI chartered town planner with some expertise in the area of economic and planning policy
- Problem solving and analytical
- Good communicator
- Well organised
- Details and accuracy orientated
- Able to engage and negotiate with a diverse range of people
- Flexible, creative with the ability to come up with imaginative solutions to problems
