We are looking for an Internal Sales Supervisor to join our Commercial team at our Tarmac Stancombe site, Flax Bourton near Bristol, supporting our quarry and asphalt operations and helping us deliver on our commercial goals.

About the RoleAs an Internal Sales Supervisor
, you will lead and develop a team of Internal Sales Coordinators and Administrators, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of customer enquiries, quotations, and orders. You will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships, supporting operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement across our sales processes. Working closely with Operations, Logistics, and the wider Commercial team, you’ll help ensure we deliver the best possible experience to our customers while contributing to the success of our business.
- Lead, coach and support the internal sales team to achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer orders, quotations, and enquiries.
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and resolve any escalated issues quickly and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with operations and logistics teams to ensure product availability and efficient delivery schedules.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and support the ongoing development of your team.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety and environmental standards.
- Support the creation and execution of local sales plans and commercial strategies.

Experience in a sales, customer service, or operational environment—particularly within construction materials, logistics or manufacturing—would be advantageous, but not essential.
