- Why this role matters: This is a pivotal opportunity to support the business in providing an efficient, flexible front and back‑office support service to both internal and external clients.
As the ideal candidate, you will have sound judgement, be meticulous, have a high level of attention to detail and be very organized and physically fit, all pivotal in ensuring an exceptional greeting with a warm and professional demeanour. You will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, partners, and employees, working collaboratively with the Business Services team. Maintaining a thorough knowledge of the services and procedures, you will be responsible for delivering an end‑to‑end customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Providing concierge duties, including welcoming clients, customers, partners, and employees, and providing a site induction.
- Managing access control for staff, visitors, and contractors onsite.
- Carrying out daily Health & Safety checks.
- Prompt response to emergencies, ensuring that the necessary action is taken at the time of the event.
- Completion of accident, incident and near miss reports.
- Challenging and handling confrontational situations in a calm, professional and legal manner when required.
- Awareness of vulnerable persons and understanding cultural differences in interactions.
- Undertaking a range of admin tasks, including meeting room and car park bookings.
- Meeting room and event set up & clear down.
- Assisting with the provision of food and beverage service.
- Event support.
- Fire Marshal and First Aider.
- Occasional out of hours support.
- An SIA trained Supervisor or Security Guarding licence, or willingness to attain one.
- Previous experience of working in a high‑end hospitality or front‑of‑house environment is essential.
- Experience working within a professional, corporate security environment.
- Food Hygiene Level 3, or willingness to attain one.
- Enjoy dealing with people at all levels.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- Intermediate IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g., Excel).
