To be considered for a role with a British Government client through mthree, you must meet specific eligibility criteria and, if successful, complete the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and, where required, Security Check (SC) clearance.
BPSS is the UK Government's mandatory pre-employment screening standard and includes:
- Verification of your identity
- Confirmation of your right to work in the UK
- Employment history checks covering a minimum of the last three years
- A basic criminal record check for unspent convictions
Some roles requiring access to classified information may additionally require SC clearance, which involves:
- Detailed vetting of personal, employment, financial, and security-related information
- Residency requirements (typically at least five years of UK residency) to allow meaningful checks

About the roleAs a Business Analyst Graduate Consultant, you will support change, transformation, and technology projects that underpin essential Government services.
What you'll be doing- Supporting requirements gathering sessions and workshops
- Documenting business needs, processes, and functional requirements
- Creating process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Analysing current vs. target processes to identify improvements
- Assisting with project delivery across Agile or hybrid environments
- Collaborating with stakeholders across departments and specialist teams
- Preparing documentation such as business cases, process flows, and reports
- Supporting project ceremonies, governance, and status updates

Begin your placement with one of our Global Investment Banking or Central Government clients, supported by your mthree Experience Manager.
