Are you a confident new business hunter who thrives on building relationships, closing complex deals, and seeing your own portfolio grow? This is a newly created role within a fast-scaling B2B intelligence and media business. The company operates across global finance delivering premium subscription-based data and insights to blue‑chip clients.
As a Business Development Manager
, you’ll be focused 100% on new business
, sourcing, pitching, and closing new logos across a global client base. The exciting part? Every account you win stays with you, meaning you can continue to grow and nurture the relationships you’ve built.
- Driving your own prospecting and pipeline strategy across target accounts.
- Leading consultative sales conversations with senior decision‑makers (C‑suite, Heads of Strategy, Business Development, and Market Intelligence).
- Delivering demos and value‑led presentations that showcase high‑value data and intelligence products.
- Negotiating and closing high‑value annual subscription deals (£20k–£45k+ typical value).
- Retaining and expanding your own portfolio of accounts over time.
- Proven experience in B2B new business sales ideally across subscriptions, SaaS, or market intelligence
. - Strong consultative sales skills and the ability to engage senior executives confidently.
