What we’re looking for

We are seeking an experienced Client Partner to join our Public Sector team. You might currently be a Product or Delivery Manager, or a Client Lead Digital Consultant in a digital agency. It’s even better if you’ve managed projects working to the government Service Standard. You will help clients develop and implement effective digital services and interventions.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their digital strategies align with their goals.
  • Lead combined multidisciplinary and client teams through exploration, experimentation and implementation, drawing on relevant research, design and technical approaches.
  • Support a combined client & project team to work in agile, iterative ways for the best outcomes.
  • Act as a navigator through relevant sector standards and shared resources.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice, and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Facilitate conversations and workshops confidently, ready and willing to get hands‑on with collaborative and multidisciplinary work.
  • Support teams in translating policy intent into viable digital products or services that can be operated effectively.
Core responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and working together to realise positive outcomes.
  • Strategic Leadership:
Guide clients in developing and implementing strategies that realise valuable outcomes and improve public services.
  • Project Oversight:
Oversee the planning and execution of digital projects, coordinating with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.
  • Business Development:
Identify opportunities for growth within existing client accounts, and lead pitches and proposals for new clients and projects.
  • Performance Analysis:
Utilise quantitative and qualitative insights to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and recommend improvements.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in an Account, Product or Delivery Lead role or similar with a focus on agile, user‑centred service and product development.
  • Strong understanding of Service Standard approaches, user‑centred design disciplines and iterative methods.
  • Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long‑term relationships.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in presenting to clients and stakeholders.
  • A results‑oriented mindset with a track record of driving successful digital initiatives.
What we offer
  • Become a co‑owner of Torchbox, shape our success and share in the rewards.
  • Work with awesome clients doing rewarding, purposeful work.
  • Competitive salary + annual review + bonuses.
  • Ethical pension scheme, with a 6% contribution from Torchbox.
  • 27 days holiday, plus public holidays.

  • Paid time off to volunteer for causes that matter to you.
  • Health schemes and access to mental health support.
  • Electric car salary sacrifice scheme (UK only).
