JOB TITLE: Business Development Director SME, Trading
LOCATION(S): Bristol / South West / Thames Valley preferred, but flexible on location with relevant experience.
HOURS: Full Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is flexible, with at least two days per week spent out with your network/clients. We expect attendance at your local hub for monthly meetings.
Base Pay Range£50,000.00-£55,000.00
OverviewJoin the dynamic Intermediaries team within the Business & Commercial Bank, focusing on delivering term debt lending and acquiring new switchers for the organisation. The role supports SME clients with turnovers between £3 million and £25 million, building business opportunities and representing the group within the local professional community.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional service to brokers and clients, ensuring their needs are at the heart of every interaction.
- Provide funding solutions, write credit proposals, and ensure compliance with conduct risk requirements.
- Lead the profiling of the Bank through various mediums including digital advocacy and professional social media.
- Foster strong relationships with colleagues and partners to deliver comprehensive banking solutions tailored to brokers’ needs.
- Support and mentor the team, providing guidance to help them achieve their objectives.
- Existing commercial banking experience with strong credit-writing skills in the SME space and a proven track record of delivering term debt products.
