Join us at Rank My WP, where we protect what matters. As an Export Control Officer, you will play a crucial role within our bustling commercial team, providing specialist support on export and import control procedures, identifying and developing solutions to resolve issues.

The role can be based at any of our three sites (Bristol, Barnstaple, or Beckington) with the opportunity for flexible working. Salary up to £50k, depending on experience, plus extensive benefits.

• Act as primary point of contact for export and import control procedures for commercial matters; work independently to identify solutions and resolve issues.
• Conduct detailed review and recording of export control issues, develop and present summaries and proposed solutions to senior managers for approval.
• Lead on export control aspects of high‑value complex bids, identifying and developing solutions to minimise risks throughout the bid review process.
• Improve and enhance the commercial effectiveness of the company by working closely with Bid and Project Managers and project teams.

• Significant and proven experience in import and export control in high‑value defence bids.
• Skilled in ITAR, EUGEA and experience in drafting export licences, returns and similar documentation (e.g. F680s, SIELs).
• Experience in shipping for customer contracts and freight forwarding sub‑contracts.
• Excellent communication skills and team focus.
