Assistant Field Service Controller

Main Responsibilities:

• Answering the main line and escalating queries to the Field Service Controller
• Raising Quotations & Service work orders on the in-house system and scheduling to engineers
• Organising and planning engineer’s schedules across various depots for routine maintenance and breakdowns on machinery
• Working with the parts team to ensure parts are available for engineers to attend site
• Organise and maintain the daily/weekly WIP (‘Work In Progress’ report)
• Raising purchase orders
• Assist service control and management with cost and completion of service work orders
• General data entry and other tasks requested by the business

• Attending regular service meetings
• Work to develop a technical/mechanical understanding of the products
• Covering and support service administration role as and when required (Holiday / Sickness)

• Demonstrable customer service experience, in a similar role or industry
• Proven administration experience
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, ever-changing environment.
• Excellent level of attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Mathematically competent with good IT skills.
• Confident and clear telephone manner.

• Good general level of education including English, Maths, and IT.
