About

The Role

We’re seeking a strategic and results‑driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee supply chain operations across the West region of the UK. This role ensures that sourcing activities and supplier performance align with both local needs and broader organisational objectives.

You’ll be responsible for setting the direction of supply chain strategy for the West, developing and implementing category strategies, and managing the full sourcing lifecycle – from market analysis and supplier identification to tendering, negotiation, and contract management.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Leading medium to high complexity procurement events in compliance with central processes and relevant legislation.
  • Ensuring goods and services are procured efficiently and deliver value for money.
  • Building expert knowledge of the local supplier marketplace and engaging with suppliers that meet regional requirements.
  • Driving continuous improvement through supplier performance initiatives.
  • Collaborating with central supply chain teams to align regional strategies with national goals.
  • Sharing insights on market conditions and contributing to centre‑led category strategies.
  • Establishing clear communication channels and feedback loops across teams.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high‑performing team.
  • Supporting team growth through mentoring, onboarding, and training.
  • Fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
About You

You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and bring a strategic mindset to everything you do. You’ll be a natural collaborator who builds strong relationships across teams and communicates with clarity and purpose. You’ll be passionate about developing others and creating a positive, high‑performance culture. You’ll have the ability to stay focused on outcomes, adapt to changing priorities, and lead with integrity to become a trusted and impactful leader.
