In this full-time role, you ll be at the heart of our team and central to all training-related administration. You will work with one of our People Development Managers and provide administrative support for the whole life cycle of programmes. This will include programme scheduling and advertising, liaising with internal delegates and external training providers, ensuring information and pre-reading material is circulated in advance, and dealing calmly and efficiently with any last-minute changes.
You ll be working with various systems and spreadsheets to capture, analyse, and distribute People Development information, and ensure that our record-keeping and reporting is accurate. And where possible, you ll develop these systems to improve their effectiveness. There is a large amount of diary management and planning in this role too, so you ll need to keep up-to-speed with all the elements of our training programmes to ensure the smooth running of training events.
- Provide administrative support for the whole life cycle of training programmes, including scheduling, advertising, and coordination with delegates and training providers.
- Circulate information and pre-reading materials in advance; manage last-minute changes calmly and efficiently.
- Use various systems and spreadsheets to capture, analyse, and distribute People Development information; ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Develop and improve these systems where possible to enhance effectiveness.
- Manage diary planning and coordination to ensure smooth running of training events.
- One year s experience in an admin or PA role
- Good IT skills and proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience of managing multiple deadlines and priorities
- The ability to plan and organise effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Confidence to build professional relationships quickly
As a team, we use hybrid working to ensure that we work flexibly to suit the needs of our business, so we re looking for someone who will be comfortable with this approach and willing to come into our Bristol office for a minimum of 3 days each week.
