Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Join our team and help make a difference to children and young people across the South West.
We’re looking for a dedicated Business Support Coordinator to provide essential administrative support to our Fostering service. This is a part time
, office based role (29.5 hours per week) located in our Bristol office
.
As part of the wider South West administrative team, you’ll work alongside friendly and experienced colleagues who support our social workers and fostering teams across the region. You’ll play an important role in ensuring our service runs smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the positive outcomes we strive to achieve for children and young people.
AboutThe Role
In this varied and rewarding position, you’ll be the first point of contact for day to day queries and will support a range of key administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming calls and emails
- Coordinating regular checks for foster carers and children
- Booking rooms, managing diaries, and supporting meetings through accurate minute taking
- Liaising with our central finance team
- Maintaining accurate records on our CHARMS database
- Ensuring policies and procedures are followed
- Supporting business and fostering managers with administrative tasks and project work
- Promoting the voice, inclusion, and participation of children and young people within the fostering service
Our services are underpinned by our Trauma Informed (ATIC) model, which brings together Fostering, Residential, Education, and Clinical teams to provide holistic support.
About YouWe’re looking for someone who is:
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- A clear communicator who thrives in a supportive team environment
- Able to uphold high professional standards in a safeguarding focused service
You must hold a Full Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle for occasional travel between offices.
Right to work in the UK is essential.
Working HoursThis is a 29.5 hour per week role worked as follows:
- Monday: 9am – 5pm
- Tuesday: 9am – 5pm
- Thursday: 9am – 5pm
- Friday: 9am – 4:30pm
