Our client has an opportunity for a Business Support Officer to join them on a contract basis for 6 months. You will be providing administrative and operational support to a Programmes Team based at their Bristol site.

Hourly Rate
: £26.65 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance
: BPSS required before starting, SC to follow. UKI's only due to project
- Customer facing task – be at Bristol site to support on-site customer visits for at least 2 days per week (visits take place approximately 20 weeks of the year).
- Manage complex diaries, extensive travel arrangements and expenses.
- Organise meetings, events, workshops, training days and participate when required and take and manage actions.
- Create and maintain MS Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, MS One Note and MS Word documents accurately.
- Strong level on all Microsoft packages, and have experience of diary management.
- Manage an access control process to ensure control of data and compliance.
- Understanding and utilising systems, tools and policies.
- Supporting any wider UKSF activities such as participation and contribution to working groups.
- These tasks may be varied and ad-hoc in scope.
- Customer-facing experience.
- Enthusiastic team player who demonstrates integrity, is approachable, friendly and maintains confidentiality.
- Experience in a similar Business / Admin Support role; managing complex diaries, organising meetings, events and travel arrangements.
- High level of resilience, communication, organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Forward thinking, looking to improve efficiencies in working practices and processes.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, One Note).
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage own workload effectively.
- Willingness to learn and extend the role above and beyond the job description.
- Develop to become the knowledge point of contact within the team.
- Confident in building effective working relationships at all levels.
- Participation in UK Support Function and personal development initiatives.
