** 10 hours per school term, over 38 weeks per academic year (60 hours per academic year), to be worked flexibly.
* * We are seeking candidates to support one or more of our schools in the South Gloucestershire area.*
* * Most meetings take place in the evenings. However, the associated administrative tasks, such as typing up minutes, can be completed flexibly during the day or evening.

** The Role
** We have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking Clerks to Governors to join our team. This flexible and part-time role allows you to support one, two, or three schools, depending on your availability and preference.

This role is perfect for individuals who excel in providing high-quality administrative support to governing bodies. By joining us, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the effective governance of our schools.

As a Clerk to Governor, your responsibilities will include:
* ** Administrative and Organisational Support:
** Offering comprehensive administrative support to the governing body, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and maintaining documentation.
* ** Governance Guidance:
** Providing advice on governance, constitutional, and procedural matters to ensure the governing body complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
* ** Procedural Advice:
** Guiding the governing body on procedural issues to facilitate efficient meetings and decision-making processes.
