Business Support Officer – Family Help & Safeguarding Team
OverviewFull‑time, 37 hours per week, permanent role based in East/Central Bristol. You will support the Family Help Management team in providing high‑quality administrative support to the service and act as the welcoming first point of contact for children, families and multi‑agency partners via the advice line.
Key Responsibilities- Provide efficient and accurate administrative support across a range of tasks, including financial support, data management and material organisation.
- Act as the first point of contact for children, families and multi‑agency partners via the advice line, delivering a friendly and professional service.
- Track, progress and make live decisions on work, juggling multiple tasks in a complex admin environment.
- Maintain records and ensure accurate data for reporting and service improvement.
- Work collaboratively with the team, receiving regular supervision and contributing to a close‑knit workplace culture.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer‑facing role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good IT skills and the ability to manage data in a variety of formats.
- Willingness to help, a positive attitude and a cheery disposition.
- Capability to work under the direction of the management team and make timely decisions.
- Subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
