Curriculum Administration Apprentice J3432 – St George’s Road
Apply for the Curriculum Administration Apprentice role at City of Bristol College (location: St George’s Road, Bristol).
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our large administration team and gain hands‑on experience in a nationally recognised apprenticeship.
Job Details- Salary: £7.55 per hour, £279.35 per week, £14,526.20 per annum.
- Hours:
37 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 9 am‑5 pm or 8 am‑4 pm;
Friday 9 am‑4:30 pm or 8 am‑3:30 pm (half‑hour unpaid lunch each day). - Apprenticeship length: 2 years.
- Act as the first point of contact for staff, students, parents and external organisations.
- Organise diaries, meetings and events for colleagues.
- Take minutes at meetings and follow up on action points.
- Produce documents and reports using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Use College systems to manage and share information.
- Provide flexible support across the team, especially during busy periods.
- 5 GCSE grades 4–9 (A*–C) or equivalent, including Maths and English Language.
- Excellent organisation and time‑management skills.
- Customer service skills – delivery of a first‑class service to a wide range of people.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
- Confidence in using Microsoft Office and College systems.
- Problem‑solving skills – learning to adapt and find solutions.
