Assistant Management Accountant

Our client, a market leader in their field, with offices in the UK and Europe, is searching for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy team.

The role will offer variety and a super working environment, with free parking and a subsidised canteen onsite.

We're looking for an experienced candidate with AAT Level 4 or equivalent due to the complexities of the workload; this will ensure you're able to hit the ground running and add impact straight away.

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting and journal posting for all UK businesses
• Assisting in external reporting including:
• VAT returns (quarterly)
• Customs Duty Deferment
• UK statutory accounts (annually)
• Review and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts (monthly)
• Reconciliation of all import documentation and customs declaration
• Cashflow forecasting daily
• Post bank transactions and daily bank reconciliations
• Support Accounts Payable function
• Year end audit preparation
• Ad hoc projects/reports

• Applicants must be qualified to AAT level 4 or equivalent and possess knowledge of SAP and UK GAAP, with previous experience gained in a similar accounting role.
• Minimum 5 GCSEs including Grade 4 and above at Maths and English
• Strong experience of working with Excel
