As an apprentice you will complete a four‑year training contract.
Years 1 and 2
- Master the art of auditing:
Learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using latest software and methodologies. - Financial statements:
Develop a deep understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows. - Work side by side with clients:
Be immersed into the business world by working directly with diverse companies. - Build relationships:
Connect with key stakeholders in clients and internally across service lines.
Years 3 and 4
- Take on more complex audit work such as revenue recognition, valuation, and risk assessments.
- Lead audit engagements and take ownership of delivery.
- Mentor new and junior team members.
- Transition to a permanent role; the apprenticeship is just the beginning of your career.
- On track or have obtained A-level, BTEC or equivalent qualifications; strong academic performance.
- Deep curiosity to learn, naturally inquisitive.
- The ability to think critically, solve problems and share knowledge.
- Commitment to self‑development and learning.
- Strong sense of ownership, high responsibility and deliver on promises.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Enjoys meeting and engaging with new people, respecting diversity and integrity.
- Works well under pressure with a positive ‘can‑do’ attitude.
- Excellent time management.
- A willingness to travel and adapt to flexible working.
