Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring at least 1 year of ICU experience, AHA certifications, and night shift availability.

• ICU setting within an acute care hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00)
• 36-hour work commitment per schedule period
• 4 weekend shifts required per schedule period
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to PCU and possibly Med/Surg as needed
• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Orientation begins on Sundays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract nurses are expected to actively support nursing student clinical education alongside their regular patient care responsibilities
• Local candidates are not accepted — candidates must live 100 or more miles from the facility

• Active TN or Compact RN license required
• Current AHA certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Two supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
