Responsibilities Cleaning Services
  • Clean and service rest rooms, smoking urns and ash trays.
  • Mop, sweep, scrub floors and other surfaces, maintain and renew floor surface finishes, vacuum and shampoo rugs.
  • Dust and wax furniture, exhibit cases, fixtures, windows, doors, trim and related furnishings.
  • Wash windows, glass doors, and interior glasses, including partitions, frames, pictures, etc.
Debris and Snow Removal
  • Collect any debris in and around buildings and place in containers.
  • Collect debris from all building receptors and place in outside containers for removal by truck.
  • Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walks at building entrances and connecting walks.
Doors
  • Lock and unlock doors to classrooms, lecture rooms, offices, etc.
Move
  • Move furniture, supplies and miscellaneous equipment as directed.
Paint
  • Paint as directed and required.
Repair
  • Report all items that require repair.
Additional Functions
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required to attend all mandatory safety classes.
