Role Description

This is a full-time 30-32 hour, on‑site role for a Radiologic/Mammography Technologist located in Bristol, RI. The technologist will be responsible for operating imaging equipment to conduct diagnostic imaging examinations. Responsibilities include ensuring proper patient positioning, maintaining radiation safety protocols, collaborating with medical staff to analyze imaging results, and preparing reports. This role requires adherence to best practices and maintaining high standards in patient care and safety.

  • Prepare patients for radiologic exams.
  • Escorts patients to and from our walk‑in department.
  • Able to execute paperwork and technical aspect of the job.
  • Follow procedures and workflow pertaining to x‑rays, mammograms and bone density exams.
  • Help complete department tasks such as cleaning, stocking, and making sure supplies are ordered and organized.
  • Work closely with internal Physicians as well as communication with other staff.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Radiologic Technology practices and procedures
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and a strong understanding of Radiation Safety
  • Knowledge of medical and radiology principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a clinical setting
  • Current state licensure and CPR certification
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
