What You Bring

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work, gerontology, criminal justice, theology, nursing, or counseling; or be a registered nurse
• At least two years of experience in human services, with one year in direct mental health care
  • PREFERRED: At least one year's experience in a drug and alcohol setting
• Valid driver's license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer use; experience with EHR systems preferred
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without accommodation

Your Role

• Monitor and respond to the mobile crisis line
• Provide triage, crisis counseling, information, and referrals via phone
• Conduct face-to-face level-of-care assessments in a team setting
• Deliver in-person crisis counseling and develop crisis plans
• Process involuntary commitment applications and coordinate emergency psychiatric evaluations as needed
• COMING IN 2026: Crisis Workers will be required to complete ASAM assessments
