Required Certifications

ACLS, BLS (AHA), PALS, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC

Inpatient- ICU, ER, L&D, Medsurg, Psych, recovery room, sleep lab. Offsite SNF very rarely if ever last resort. Experience or 'Must have' skills:
Must have 2 years of experience and extensive vent management, ICU experience is a must. Job Duties (ie: Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.): RT draw and read ABG's, able to draw off A-line - Epoc machine, assist with bronchs, attend all codes and rapid responses. No EKG's. L&D- setup blenders and humidifiers, pediatric doc available for settings, intubations.

Will stabilize and transfer, capillary sticks. Occasionally have to run over to the sleep lab to physically put them on O2 or adjust, depends if polysomnographer is licensed.
