Position: In-service Systems Engineering Technical Support
Location: Filton

Salary:
Circa £ 42,000-£51,000 d epending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance:
British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a Sea Viper Systems focal point supporting the sustainment of Sea Viper capability. These work strands offer a wide variety in terms of scope of work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

The opportunity

Key work packages includes:
Systems Focal Point for Sea Viper related technical queries supporting the In Service capability sustainment
A Focal Point for all Technical Information and Advice Proposals
Review the Sea Viper Technical Events Log for technical queries and safety related events;
Maintain a suite of project specific processes;
Ensuring technical correctness of the Sea Viper technical documentation (Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals);
Support sub-system technical query resolution as required;
Tasking as required from the Head of System Definition.

As the Sea Viper Systems Focal Point you will be responsible for the following:
Managing technical aspects of Sea Viper Technical Events;
Carrying out technical analyses and investigations of system-level issues and opportunities, including conduct of trade-off studies;
Supporting the System Design verification and validation activities;
Providing support to transversal activities (Safety, Security, EMC and Environmental);
Delivering and managing the Project Specific Process Documents;
Providing and/or overseeing technical support and troubleshooting responses;
Generating technical reports to the Customer.
