Job Description

Design and develop a range of mechanical high precision components
Prepare scheme drawings, and detail manufacturing drawings for production
Perform mechanical component development and integration
Solve a variety of mechanical engineering issues and improve existing designs
Utilise and use CAD packages to create designs

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

Extensive experience designing mechanical components/systems within the aerospace industry
Ability to read complex engineering drawings and specifications
Accomplished using CAD/design software
In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and geometric tolerances
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve complex design challenges.

Additional Information

Contract roles available Inside or Outside IR35 (status to be assessed prior to engagement)
Initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension due to programme demand
Multiple hires required to support a large-scale engineering workload
