As Military Program Security Specialist you will be a member of the GE Avio Srl Security Organization (art.
5, comma 1, lettera e, art 13 paragraph 3 DPCM 6 Novembre 2015, n.5). In this role, you will treat classified information and support the “Funzionario Sicurezza Designato of GE Avio Srl” to ensure compliance with domestic and international security regulations (Legge 3 Agosto 2007, n. 124, DPCM 6 Novembre 2015, n.5 and related subsequent and/or related regulations). The Alternative SSL will provide assistance to work group in order to meet assigned objectives.

In this role you will work within defined parameters to apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity and resolve issues through immediate action or short‑term planning.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities

Alternate Site Security Leader (SSL); support the SSL for implementing the security activities relating to the site, and in particular the access control activities, of the Control Room, with the security site Team; support the SSL to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to protect the organization’s information systems and networks, asset and property
Implementing security procedures and instructions, constantly verifying compliance with current legislation and conduct audits to review internal compliance and make recommendations for corrections as required
Support and propose revisions of operating procedures/instructions to always ensure they comply with applicable standards, based on risk assessment and company regulations
Conduct security awareness training for employees to educate them about security risks, proper use of technology, and best practices for information security.
Participate in incident response activities, including creating and maintaining incident response plans, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely resolution of security incidents
Provide support for the drafting of the assessment of physical and production security risks and identification of measures to mitigate them
Collaborate in any crisis or emergency of the plant, and support the Crisis Management Team
Support the FSD to implement the policies, procedures and instructions to ensure security of classified information and to execute investigation activities in case of classified security incidents
Arrange letters, reports, data sets to be communicated and update records of classified registers/archives, classified document/media management
Keep records of security clearances and their validity of white‑listed employees and contractors
Classified visit security organization and management
Execute security inspections and controls; security equipment management and maintenance (intrusion detection systems, TVCC, secure locks and doors, security keys, encryptor systems)
Encryption/decryption operative activities
Implement security education and awareness programs for new hires
Identify potential concerns and elevate them to management
Support the management of processes and for the different tools for Security Team
Collaborate to internal/external events

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or High School Diploma
Previous experience in a security role in particular managing classified/sensitive document
Eligible to be security‑cleared under Italian National Security Framework – NOS (art.
9, comma 4 Legge 3 Agosto 2007, n.124; art 37 DPCM 6 Novembre 2015 n.5)
