Residence Manager (Summer 2026)

Are you looking to develop your leadership and management skills within international business? Does the prospect of running a residence full of language students from around the world excite you? If so, EF invites you to join us as Residence Manager, leading a multicultural team and creating a home‑from‑home environment for our international students.

• Work with the summer management team to deliver an exceptional experience to our students, holding overall responsibility for the residence and its occupants.
• Manage room assignments, coordinate arrivals and departures, and ensure a seamless experience for students.
• Liaise with residence owners and staff on cleaning, maintenance, theme events, and safety.

• Flexible approach to working hours is essential.
• Experience of managing or leading a team is desirable.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and positive.
• Customer‑service oriented with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and diffuse potential difficult situations.
• Sensitive to the needs of international students living away from home.
• Excellent communicator with students, colleagues, and external clients.
• Attention to detail, organized, and thorough.
• All offers are subject to an enhanced DBS check and two references.
• Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment.
