Join to apply for the Senior Maritime Civil Engineer role at Complete Probe Solutions Inc.

This is an opportunity for a Senior Engineer with approximately 10+ years of experience, wanting to join an engineering consultancy in a globally recognised Maritime Engineering team based in Brighton or Exeter.

Are you looking to be part of a growing team with the opportunity for growth or your next career step? Do you have a true passion to align business growth ambitions with the external world? This role will provide you the opportunity to drive our business agenda with a key focus on international shipyards and defence facilities.

Following continued success within the defence and international shipyard sectors, our company is expanding its current Exeter and Brighton team through the growth of the maritime business.

About the Company

At our company, you will join an independent, employee-owned international consultancy that combines engineering, design, and consultancy services with software and technology. Our mission, "Enhancing Society Together," drives us to create a positive impact on the world.

We offer purpose-driven and challenging work in diverse international projects, leveraging our 140+ years of expertise. With over 7,000 employees in more than twenty-five countries, we work together to turn challenges into opportunities and make a real impact on society.

Equal Opportunities

We are an Equal Opportunities Employer. We have the clear goal of driving diversity and inclusion across all dimensions. Together, we embark on a journey where every one of us welcomes and celebrates individual differences. We recognise that embracing diversity unlocks innovation and creativity and fosters collaboration. We want our employees to reflect the diversity of our communities and the customers we serve.

Our

Maritime Business

Our global Maritime team is over six hundred strong and leads innovative international maritime planning, design, and development. We are multidisciplinary experts working on international projects to create successful ports, shipyards, and maritime infrastructure worldwide. We provide expert commercial, technical, and operational advice and have created master plans across five continents for a wide range of port and shipyard projects.

We are one of the largest and most experienced teams of port planning, shipyard, and dry dock professionals and designers globally. We are world leaders in the production of port and shipyard feasibility studies, master plans, and designs. From our offices across the UK, we lead all company shipyard projects in collaboration with colleagues globally.

Examples of recent projects include the design of a lock for a new port in India, the design of the newest, largest, and most technically advanced shipyard in the Middle East with three dry docks covering an area of over 1,000 hectares, assessment of a set of dock gates in the North East of England, and providing continuous support to our various UK Navies.

The Role

If you are a Civil/Structural Engineer with maritime experience or looking to transfer to the Maritime Sector and you are looking to work on globally significant projects, this role would provide you a great opportunity to work on world class projects. This role will provide great exposure to local and global projects alike, whilst working with the leading professionals within the Shipyard sector.

The role prefers candidates with knowledge of shipyards, drydocks, and dock gates, but this experience is not essential.

This role is part of the growth of the Exeter and Brighton team. We offer hybrid working opportunities and are happy to discuss part-time working arrangements.

Note, some of our clients require staff to meet specific government Security Clearances before working on and having access to certain documents and projects, which will be a requirement of the job. We will pay for all necessary checks.

  • Prepare designs and analyses for maritime and associated structures, from initial concepts through to detailed designs.
