• Night Shift (12-hour: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM)

• Registered Nurse RN position that supports the Trinity Health Brighton Emergency Department (ED).
• This position is a part‑time, benefited opportunity scheduled 24 hour per week, 12‑hour 6:45 PM–7:15 AM with a weekend and holiday rotation.
• Trinity Health Brighton's Emergency Department (ED) is available 24‑hours a day, 365 days a year to care for minor illnesses/injuries as well as major life‑threatening, traumatic, medical and surgical problems, staffed with board‑certified or board‑eligible emergency physicians.

• Under limited supervision, assess patients, develop, evaluate, and modify care plans, performing complex patient‑care procedures specific to your expertise.
• Act as a member of the Care Team and Support Team, accountable to function as a team to achieve patient outcomes identified in the pathway/plan of care.
• Provide professional caregiving, assuming responsibility and accountability for the care given to a group of patients for a designated time frame.
• Use therapeutic nursing process, environment/technology, and collaboration with other healthcare team members according to established standards.
• Serve patients of all age groups (Infant through Older Adults).

• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Effective January 1 2013, all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from the date of hire.
