Outpatient Infusion Nurse - Brighton

Trinity Health is seeking an Outpatient Infusion Nurse for our Brighton site. Full‑time day shift.

Hours:

Monday‑Friday 8 am‑4:30 pm. The Infusion Clinic serves Oncology and Non‑Oncology patients with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IV hydration, blood products, injections, iron, phlebotomies, bone marrow biopsies, and supportive care. Additional specialties include Rheumatology, Neurology, OB, etc. Our team includes Infusion Nurses, Medical Assistants, Schedulers, Nurse Coordinator, Education Coordinator, and Infusion Manager.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN degree or written agreement to obtain BSN within five years.
• Current Michigan Nursing License.
• BLS certification.
• All Infusion Nurses must obtain Chemotherapy Certification;
  Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) highly encouraged.

Knowledge of nursing theory, practice, and age‑specific needs. Interpersonal skills for collegial and therapeutic relationships. Critical thinking and attention to detail for clinical care.

• View patients holistically, considering physical, psychosocial, emotional, age specific, cultural, and spiritual factors.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and apply evidence‑based interventions.
• Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise individualized care plans, addressing patient and family education needs and coordinating discharge resources.
• Utilize teach‑back methodology to assure learning.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and communicate patient status to interdisciplinary team.
• Foster positive patient experience and resolve conflicts constructively.
