Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative intern to support workflow automation initiatives across IT, Lending, and Accounting. In this role, you will help identify and automate key business processes as part of Lake Trust’s strategic initiatives to improve efficiency and operational effectiveness. The intern will document existing workflows, analyze shortlisted use cases, and design and develop automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate and Microsoft Power Apps.

This position offers hands‑on experience with enterprise process improvement, exposure to credit union operations, and the opportunity to deliver meaningful automation solutions that create measurable business impact.

What you’ll do
  • Analyze and document existing business processes within IT, Lending, and Accounting
  • Review and evaluate shortlisted automation use cases to identify improvement opportunities
  • Design, develop, and implement workflow automations using Microsoft Power Automate
  • Build and enhance internal applications and process solutions using Microsoft Power Apps
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and validate automation solutions
  • Test, troubleshoot, and refine workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and reliability
  • Create documentation and user guides to support adoption and ongoing maintenance
  • Contribute to strategic process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency across the organization
What you’ll bring
  • Pursuing a degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent.
  • Some experience or exposure to Microsoft tools like Power Automate, Power Apps. Knowledge of SQL is helpful.
