Job Summary

The desktop support intern will provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues, and ensuring IT incidents are resolved in a timely manner. Responsibilities include responding to user requests, troubleshooting, assisting with installations and maintenance, documenting support requests, and collaborating with staff across the IS department..

What you'll do

* Provide exposure and experience in the desktop support/engineering roles and the systems used on a daily basis (SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Admin Center)

* Windows 10 to 11 migration, ATM refreshes, A/V upgrades, workstation refreshes

* Respond to support requests via email, phone, ticketing system, and walk-up interactions

* Assist with workstation refreshes and hardware deployments

* Support miscellaneous projects

* Contribute IT support for company events

* Utilize and gain hands-on experience with ITSM ticketing systems to track and manage incidents and requests

* Work with IT tools such as SCCM, Intune, and Active Directory

* Monitor and support basic helpdesk metrics, including ticket and call tracking

* Collaborate with the desktop support team to troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate technical issues as needed

What you'll bring

* Ideal candidates should be pursuing a degree in IT or a related field,

* Possess basic knowledge of computer systems, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.

* Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems and Microsoft Office/365 services.
