Overview

We are looking for a talented School Psychologist to cover Maternity Leave.

• In-person School Psychologist
• Elementary/MS
• 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines.
• Provide training and consultation for staff on mental health, behavior management, and student wellness.

• Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Michigan Preliminary School Psychologist Certificate or Full School Psychologist Certificate (issued by the Michigan Department of Education – MDE).
• Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) preferred.
• Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check required.

• Work-Life Balance: Enjoy contracts up to 40 hours per week; unlike salaried positions, you would be paid time 1.5 for anything approved over 40 hours by your supervisor.
