• Hours: Full-time (Tuesday – Friday, 8 hours/day)
• Grade Level: PreK-12th grade
• Credentials: CO School Social Worker license required
• Experience: 1 year of School Social Work experience required
• Compensation: Starting at $44/hour (commensurate with experience)
• Location: Brighton, CO – Onsite Only

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Social Worker with a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW) degree to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing social work services to students, families, and school staff, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns to support students' overall well‑being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments of students’ mental health, social‑emotional functioning, and behavioral needs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Provide individual and group counseling services focused on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, peer relationships, and family conflict.
• Respond to crises within the school setting, including suicide risk assessments, child abuse reporting, and emergency mental health support.
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans, especially addressing emotional, behavioral, and social goals.
• Serve as a liaison between school personnel, families, and community agencies to coordinate support and access to resources like mental health services, food assistance, or housing.
• Develop and implement school‑wide prevention programs and social‑emotional learning (SEL) initiatives aimed at improving school climate and student well‑being.
• Provide consultation to teachers and school staff regarding behavioral strategies, trauma‑informed care, and student mental health concerns.
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, interventions, progress, and referrals in accordance with school policies and confidentiality guidelines.

What you need:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE‑accredited program
• Active state licensure as a Licensed School Social Worker.
• Experience providing clinical or school‑based social work services to children and adolescents.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis response.
• Knowledge of school systems, child development, and evidence‑based interventions.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including educators, psychologists, and administrators.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with electronic record‑keeping systems.
