Position SummaryTheQHSE Corporate Leader – Operations Supportis a senior-level role responsible for leading and strengthening the company’sQuality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) programs across all IFE districts.
This individual will act as the corporate-level Quality Director and Field Trainer, ensuring all locations adhere to IFE’s safety, inspection, and compliance standards.
They will oversee implementation, training, and continuous improvement of QHSE processes and be directly involved in developing and mentoring field techniciansin both safety and inspection methods.
This position requires strong working knowledge ofNon-Destructive Testing methods— including
Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Electromagnetic (ET)— along with a deep understanding ofoilfield equipment, pressure systems, and operational safety.
- Serve as the
corporate lead
for Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across all IFE locations. - Oversee, implement, and continuously improve
quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC)programs for all district and mobile site operations. - Conduct regular audits and site visits to ensure compliance with IFE standards, customer procedures, and industry regulations.
- Develop and deliver
training programs
for technicians in all NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, ET), as well as proper handling of oilfield tools and equipment. - Mentor, coach, and certify technicians through the company’s written practice to ensure consistent quality and performance.
- Lead investigations of safety incidents, nonconformances, and quality issues — developing corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with district managers and operations teams to drive performance improvement and process standardization.
- Manage internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory compliance reviews.
- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide
QHSE documentation, policies, and training systems. - Track and report company QHSE performance metrics, including incident trends, quality performance, and training compliance.
- Support pre-job planning and customer reviews to ensure IFE’s work meets all safety and procedural expectations.
- Promote a proactive safety culture, leading by example in the field and ensuring technicians embody IFE’s DRIVE values.
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management roles.
- Strong working knowledge of
NDT methods
:
Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MT), Liquid Penetrant (PT), and Electromagnetic (ET). - Proven experience in
oilfield inspection, pressure testing, or related mechanical operations. - Demonstrated ability totrain, mentor, and develop technicians
in both quality and safety practices. - Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to work effectively in field environments.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; able to manage across multiple districts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QHSE management software.
- Willingness to travel regularly to district locations and job sites.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or Occupational Health & Safety.
- NDT certifications (Level II or III) in one or more methods.
- Prior experience in a
multi‑site QHSE leadership or corporate quality director role.
