RN – General Responsibilities Core Duties:
Provides independent and delegated nursing care according to state Board of Nursing standards. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care; collects and interprets health data. Performs health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy. Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed. Reviews, monitors, and documents therapy and treatment plans per hospital/regulatory guidelines. Utilizes resources appropriately and promotes the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
May float to other departments within scope of competency. May be placed on-call during regularly scheduled shifts.
