Heavy Equipment Operator

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating dozers, loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and other large machinery used in the production of sand, gravel, and stone for ready-mix and asphalt applications. This role supports safe, efficient material handling and equipment maintenance within plant and quarry operations.

• Minimum one year of related heavy equipment operating experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and write effectively
• Strong equipment operating and driving skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards
• Ability to complete required operational documentation

• Work performed in an active quarry and aggregate plant environment
• Operation of loaders, dozers, excavators, haul trucks, and related equipment
• Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, dust, and noise
• Routine equipment inspections and minor maintenance tasks
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when required
• Respirator use may be required in accordance with safety standards; reasonable accommodations will be considered in accordance with applicable laws
