Material Handler

Our client, an industry leader in hazardous waste management, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be an essential part of the Waste Management Department supporting operations related to drum handling, hazardous waste processing, and compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** What's the Job?*
* + Handle and manage drums containing hazardous waste, ensuring proper labeling and organization.

+ Assist with emergency spill response procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

+ Ensure compliance with DOT and RCRA regulations during waste handling and transportation.

+ Support waste management activities by organizing and preparing drums for disposal or storage.

+ Maintain accurate documentation and MSDS organization related to hazardous materials.

** What's Needed?*
* + Experience working with hazardous waste, particularly with drums, is preferred.

+ Familiarity with DOT and RCRA regulations and emergency spill response procedures.

+ Knowledge of labeling drums and understanding of MSDS purposes and organization.

+ Ability to work safely and follow strict safety protocols.

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
