Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. Your job will be to provide welcoming care to our patients.

A Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant with SaludAs a Medical Assistant, your genuine spirit of caring welcomes patients as the first step in treatment prior to seeing the Doctor, NP, or PA. You will determine the nature of the patient’s visit and obtain vitals. Your thorough and concise chart documentation will provide clear necessary communication. You will maintain a clean and organized environment for both patients and staff.
Qualifications- The ability to work with people from all walks of life and to meet them in their place of need
- Current Medical Assistant Certificate
All Medical Assistants must be certified within 6 months of hire and must maintain certification throughout employment. Employers will provide the necessary training and testing to complete the certification/registration. A Medical Assistant not certified upon hire must complete certification testing within 3 months of hire; failure to pass will allow an additional 3 months to retake the test.
Education- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Successful completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program, a minimum of 6 months in length, preferred.
- Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- $20.50 to $27.00 per hour.
- Monday to Friday – 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.
- Medical PPO plan with low employee premiums, low deductibles, and copays of $25 for primary and specialty in‑network visits. Free provider visits at all Salud facilities and preferred prescription pricing at Salud pharmacies.
