Description

We are actively hiring a Full‑Time Flex Mammography Technologist to join our dedicated team at Spectrum Medical Imaging in Brighton, Colorado. This outpatient position requires Monday‑Friday day shifts with no on‑call or holiday work. Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Mammography Technologist:

  • Performs breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing data for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
  • Ensures services are performed safely in accordance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Works as part of the imaging center team, seeks and provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Up to 2 years as a Mammography Technologist
  • Education: Minimum Associate’s degree in Radiology or graduate of an accredited two‑year radiology program
  • License/Certification: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography; must maintain current valid registration and, for IDTF centers, Mammo advanced registration upon hire (or within the first 12 months for non‑IDTF). Must also meet state licensure requirements.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Operation of mammography equipment and ancillary equipment.
    • Ability to work independently and multitask.
    • Accurate and concise documentation.
    • Understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, radio pharmaceutics, and medical terminology.
    • Computer skills including information and billing systems, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
