DNA Recruitment is delighted to partner with a specialist medicines provider offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Pharmacist (Dispensary) to join their expanding service.

This position is ideal for someone who may currently be in community or hospital pharmacy and wants a role with clinical responsibility, leadership opportunities, and a supportive, structured environment.

* Leading and developing a small team of pharmacists, and

* Acting as the clinical expert within the Dispensary to ensure safe, compliant and high-quality prescription screening.

💎 Benefits

Competitive salary £53,000 - £58,000 basic - as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to:

8.30am – 5pm – Mon – Fri – No Weekends – 30 min undisturbed lunch – 40hrs

What You’ll Be Doing

✔ Overseeing daily clinical screening of prescriptions
✔ Acting as the clinical point of escalation for the Dispensary
✔ Coaching, mentoring and supporting pharmacists and wider colleagues
✔ Managing staffing coverage and delegating workload
✔ Supporting accuracy checking processes when needed
✔ Investigating errors or complaints with professionalism and clarity
✔ Ensuring SOPs, records and documentation meet regulatory standards
✔ Working closely with quality and compliance teams
✔ Upholding high standards in patient safety and clinical governance

What You’ll Need

🎓 MPharm (or equivalent) + GPhC registration
🗓 At least 2 years’ experience in a dispensing or clinical environment
➡️ Some leadership experience (community, hospital, or specialist settings all welcome)
🧠 Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
🗣 Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
🧘 Calm under pressure, with confidence in prioritisation
📝 Comfortable with procedural documentation and compliance
