Ready to shape the future of lending in Private Banking? We’re looking for a proactive and people‑focused individual to join our Specialised Lending Team as a Private Banking Specialist Lender. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of our lending operations, delivering exceptional outcomes for high‑value clients while helping shape the future of our lending proposition.
What you’ll be doing- Proactively manage and build relationships with key internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted business partner.
- Identify and resolve shortcomings in compliance and distribution processes to enhance customer service.
- Collaborate with lending colleagues to manage important external introducer relationships.
- Build and maintain a productive working relationship with Wealth Credit Risk to support the delivery of outstanding customer outcomes.
- Provide input into the development of improved procedures to enhance the customer lending journey.
- Offer operational support to senior managers through non‑routine activities using established programmes and protocols.

Essential Skills- 3+ years experience in complex HNW residential and specialist lending
- Proven understanding of the UK residential property market and the services that support it.
- Strong relationship management skills as you’ll be working across Private Banking, Wealth Credit Risk and introducers
- Customer‑first decision‑making with confident judgement in complex lending scenarios
- Continuous improvement approach with strong control, documentation and process discipline
- Ability to coach others in lending standards and credit reasoning
- Comfortable using customer and partner feedback to enhance service
- Proactive in sharing knowledge and guidelines across teams
