Grafton Banks Finance is working with a successful ecommerce group, based in Brighton, to recruit a Tax Manager on a 15-18 month maternity contract.

This is a part time role (3 days per week) to start in January 2026. The role will be responsible for ensuring the business meets its tax requirements across multiple entities and markets.

We are looking for a qualified tax accountant (ACA, ACCA, CTA) who is experienced in direct and indirect taxes and has ideally worked in international groups. High level of attention to detail is essential, as are excellent communication skills.

Key tasks:

• Managing and assisting with operational taxes including VAT, US Sales Tax and Payroll Taxes.
• Managing and implementing the corporate tax strategy and working with external advisors where necessary.
• Maintaining/implementing transfer pricing agreements where necessary.
• Managing and performing the regular tax cycles for different entities and taking the lead on R&D tax claims in the UK.
• Managing the Group's tax compliance and tax risk profile.
• Tax audits and inspections.
• Accurate forecasting of tax liabilities & reclaims.

This role is hybrid working with 2 days required in the clients Brighton offices. Salary for the role is up to £68,000 + benefits.
