Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of tender submissions for civil engineering projects. Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation. Support take-offs, quantity measurements and cost build-ups. Help identify risks, opportunities and value-engineering options. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and quotations. Maintain accurate records and contribute to tender handover processes. Support post-tender reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. About You This role would suit someone who is:
At an early stage of their estimating or civil engineering career. Educated to HNC / HND / Degree level in Civil Engineering or Construction (or working towards). Keen to learn estimating from first principles within a supportive team environment. Organised, numerate and detail-focused. Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Office applications. A strong communicator with a proactive, positive attitude. Desirable (but not essential) Some site experience within civil engineering or construction.
Exposure to tendering, cost control or commercial processes. Full UK driving licence. What's on Offer Structured training and mentoring from experienced estimators.
