Senior Accountant

Fantastic opportunity for Senior Accountant to join a growing firm based in Brighouse. This independent firm offers a variety of services to their wide range of clients, from audit, accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Book‑keeping and management accounts preparation
• Preparing and submitting self‑assessment & partnership tax returns, and VAT returns.
• Liaising with clients.
• Supporting and guiding less experienced staff.

To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, ideally you should meet the following:

• Experience with Iris, Xero, Quick Books, Sage would be beneficial.
• Able to work on own initiative to meet deadlines.
• Friendly, confident manner and be happy to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Audit experience would also be preferable.
• AAT qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experience working as a Senior Accountant in Practice.
