Overview

Are you a food service professional who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service? We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Breakfast Attendant to join our busy hotel team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet, ensuring fruits, breads, cereals, bakery items, and hot food selections are fully stocked, properly heated, and attractively displayed.

You’ll prepare and maintain hot breakfast items according to food safety standards, monitor temperatures, and replenish items as needed. Throughout the morning, you’ll circulate the dining area to refill coffee and beverages, clear used dishes, and keep the space clean and welcoming for guests. This position is ideal for an early riser, as shifts begin at 5:00 AM and end around 1:00 PM.

The schedule is primarily weekends (Saturday and Sunday), with some Fridays, though availability on other days is welcomed. The ideal candidate has prior food service experience, enjoys interacting with people, and is committed to creating a positive dining experience. Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with any questions or concerns that they may have in a prompt and friendly manner
  • Disinfect and clean service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment following health and safety procedures
  • Maintain the breakfast area by cleaning tables, chairs, and buffet counter, and empty trash as needed
  • Take orders, and deliver food and drinks to guests while they are in the dining area
  • Use appropriate procedures for removing used plates, glasses, and silverware in an efficient manner throughout breakfast service
Qualifications
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality
  • Food service industry experience is highly desired
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation

Compensation: $12 - $13 hourly
