Overview
The Biology Tutor will assist students with tutoring needs for different Biology Classes at the USU Brigham City Campus. Candidates must have demonstrated expertise in the academic discipline to be considered and have taken a Biology course respective to their tutoring area.
Responsibilities- Consult with instructors about course materials to determine academic needs.
- Be at work during scheduled tutoring times.
- Create a comfortable, respectful learning environment during sessions.
- Promote active learning in tutoring sessions.
- Sanitize & clean laboratory.
- Course proficiency as demonstrated by transcript and interview of committee members.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to relate to students and tutor appropriately.

Employee Work EnvironmentEmployees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions.
