Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a rewarding role in waste management? This exciting opportunity with our client in Bridgwater offers a chance to be part of a vital service, helping keep the community clean and green. You’ll be operating a HGV 2 refuse vehicle, collecting waste and recycling directly from customers’ properties, while also assisting with loading and other duties as needed.

• Safely operate an HGV Class 2 refuse vehicle adhering to all road safety and company policies
• Collect waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties efficiently and courteously
• Assist with loading waste and recyclables into the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and safety
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Maintain accurate records of collections and route details
• Support colleagues with additional duties as required to ensure smooth operations
• Deliver excellent customer service, representing the company professionally at all times

Monday to Friday: 06:15 – 14:45

• Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record
• Previous experience driving refuse or similar HGV vehicles preferred
• Ability to work flexibly, including early starts if needed
• Good physical fitness to assist with loading duties
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Familiarity with Bridgwater and surrounding areas is an advantage
