Customer Solutions Technician

Customer Solutions Technician – field‑based role, installs security systems for ADT’s residential customers.

Carry out installation of security products (intruder alarm, video doorbell, CCTV) at customers’ premises. Provide training and certification through ADT’s Customer Solutions Technician development program. Receive company van, uniform, tools, basic salary and a competitive incentive scheme.

• Install and commission systems, building upon your knowledge of intruder alarms, CCTV, doorbell and access control systems.
• Deliver a high‑class customer experience by providing excellent service, problem‑solving, and identifying sales opportunities to earn personal rewards.
• Be reliable, trustworthy, self‑motivated and able to work alone as well as in a team.
• Promote JCI as a market leader, presenting customers with a positive image of JCI employees in accordance with Johnson Controls values.
• Maintain accurate records, mileage, expenses, and timesheets.
• Undertake other reasonable duties requested by line manager.

• Full UK manual driver’s licence.
• Ability to carry and climb ladders and work at height.
• Practical skills with hand and power tools.
• Work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, damage to property, and clean up debris, returning faulty or unused equipment for correct disposal.
• Reliable, trustworthy, self‑motivated, able to work alone and in a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, able to exceed customer expectations.
• Familiar with using technology such as smartphones, tablets and PCs.
• A security check will be performed once an offer has been made.

• Electrical experience/qualifications.
